Karl Tucker the Executive Chairman of Yeo Valley and a member of The Leaders Club will discuss the history of Yeo Valley and how they have become one of the UK’s largest organic food brands and one of the biggest independent, family owned, dairy businesses.
The Yeo Valley story started in 1974 when Roger and Mary Mead started making yoghurt and selling it locally. As well as making truly delicious yoghurt, butter and ice cream from their own farm, their amazing journey has seen the brand featured in the X-Factor live shows, with spoof boy band, won two Queens Awards for Enterprise and have now diversified into restaurant food and family entertainment.
Join us to hear much more about this Somerset success story, where Karl’s inside knowledge and personal experience will make for a fascinating talk about the growth of a local farm to a nationally recognised, award winning, business.
