Every leader has their own individual style of leadership and being genuine and empathic are key attributes of great leaders. But to be seen as genuine and display empathy requires a leader to build a portfolio that their followers understand and trust just as a high street brand does.
Every new leader has to initially have permission to lead from their followers before they can become an effective leader. If they don’t get that permission they become far more transactional and managerial in their ways. So how do you consciously build your leadership brand and develop your leadership presence?
